Derivation of Pointing Formula from the Electromagnetic Field Energy Conservation Law
The article describes the method of introducing the electromagnetic field energy flux density vector. The technique of establishing relations between physical quantities relevant for the phenomenon studied is used. This technique is based on the treatment of the unit dimensions of these quantities.

Physical Bases of the Instruments of Nano-Technologies in the General Physics Course of the Technical University
In this article we discuss the necessary of including a section concerning the quantum objects and quantum device tools for nanotechnology into the general physics course of the technical university. We also describe the capabilities of scanning tunnel microscope, of atomic power microscope and of optical near-field microscope in the experimental investigations of the nano objects.

Role of Practical Class in Formation Junior Courses Physicists Students Research Skills
The authors have developed methods of caring laboratory practical class with creative tasks which can form research skills of physicists’ students. The system of creative tasks with different kinds of problems has been presented. The developed methods is aimed at using cards of help, cards with questions, schemes, drawings, formulas. The criterions for definition of the formed levels of physicists’ students research skills have been given. The results of the experiment confirming the use of the application of the given method of caring laboratory practical class at the higher educational institution are presented.

80–290 K Temperature Range Electro Conductivity and Thermo Power Measurement Plant
There was developed the full automatic 80-290 K temperature range material electro conductivity and thermo power measurement plant. This plant makes possible the measurements of the samples with the resistance varying from 1 to 105 Ohm. The observation of the experiment is made in the real time duration on the basis of the measured parameters of temperature related graphs. The resistance measurement maximum error equals to less than 1%. The mean of error coefficient of thermo power in the range of the temperatures 80-270 K is equal to 4% and in the range of the temperatures 270-290 K equals to 15%.

The Role of the Laboratory Practical Work "Physics of Low Temperature and Superconductivity" in Training Undergraduates of the Trend "540202 Physical Education"
In the paper the computer-aided laboratory practical training for the undergraduates of the trend "540202 Physical Education" on "Physics of Low Temperature and Superconductivity" with research elements is under investigation; the description of the operation of AC-magnetometer with the use of Virtual Panels and Lab VIEW is given; the results of some laboratory works are adduced. Laboratory practical training is directed to the development of students’ creative thinking, skills of unassisted work, and the formation of undergraduates’ professional competence.

Laboratory Works on Research and Use of X-ray in the Course of General Physics
The object of this paper is the educational laboratory practicum in generating, using and application of the X-ray electromagnetic radiation. In authors’ opinion the discussed set of laboratory trials may constitute an integrated part of the general physics laboratory practicum in universities and specialized professional high schools. The practical mastering of this course will produce better understanding of the physical nature of the Universe and the structure of physical matter. It will also supply students, specializing in different areas, with plenty of knowledge that will be useful for their further careers.

Experimental investigations of the beta rays passing through solid substance, liquid substance and gaseous substance are made. As a radioactive radiation source the potassium isotope 19E40, that contains KCl-salt. It was demonstrated a possibility of organization of proper physics practical works.

The assessment of the level of achievements in studying physics is compared with the measurements in physics. The result of a single test is treated as the result of a measurement in quantum mechanics. It is shown that the distribution of the results in the modern test theory coincides with the Fermi-Dirac distribution. It is noted that uncertainty principle similar to that of Heisenberg is valid for test scores and the values describing the level of achievements. The system of exams that provides obtaining the results of tests on one scale is proposed.

Degree Improvement of Receptivity of Virtual Laboratory Researches
Means of graphic programming Lab VIEW medium for increase of reliability degree of laboratory works are described on the example of thermodynamic cycles and resilient pendulum oscillation study. Described program device can be used as demonstration material.

Peculiarities of Cognitive Processing of Image Information in Problem Solving in Physics
The article deals with peculiarities of cognitive processing of image information in problem solving in physics. Thesaurus of basic theoretic images or models helps to cope successfully with the tasks. The author suggests that on the basis of image content analysis image thinking is the basic assumption of the succeeding deductions.

Interaction of Rydberg Atoms with Slow Electrons
In this paper we consider the expressions for cross sections and rate constants of transitions in collisions of Rydberg atoms (RA) with electrons in ultracold plasma with electron temperature Te<400 K. Especially we pay attention to the cases when the energy of the incident electron energy E is less than the transition energy Eif. It is shown that using of already known rate coefficients of rydberg states quenching is not correct in this energy rate. For this case new rate constant of transition in the interaction of RA with slow electrons represented. Also for the verification of new expressions we calculated recombination of ultracold Rydberg plasma using the obtained velocity processes. The results of calculations are in satisfactory agreement with experiment data.
